Number on the List - 23 & 24 Frederick Jones and Henry Jones
Summary of Mr. Lockwood's reports upon Children Boarded-out under the care of the Millbrook Boarding-out Committee.
REMARKS
Frederick Jones is in the Fifth and Henry in the Fourth Standard at school. Their foster parent (Mrs Packwood) whose husband died recently, stated that both boys were very delicate upon their first coming to her, but had since much improved in health. Both look healthy now. Frederick was spoken of by Mrs Packwood as a "good, useful, handy, boy", and to each she gave a good character for truthfulness and obedience. Two daughters aged 23 and 11 years respectively, reside with her. The bedroom in which the two boys sleep is occupied also by two grown-up sons, on the occasion of their coming home from business at Ampthill, from Saturday to Monday.
