Number on the List - 8 & 9 Ann Shelford and Jane Shelford
Summary of Mr. Lockwood's reports upon Children Boarded-out under the care of the Ampthill Boarding-out Committee.
REMARKS
These children have been upwards of three years with their foster parent Mrs Fossey, who has grown-up daughter residing with her. Each child occupies a separate bed in an airy bedroom. The cottage was neat and well ordered throughout. The health of the children was mentioned by the foster parent as having been good in the main since their arrival, and she also stated that they were little or no trouble to manage. The inspector mentions that "This is an excellent home".
